Unravelling The Mystery Of The Nephilim: From Biblical Lore To Eternal Fascination
The enigmatic Nephilim have captivated our imaginations with their alleged connection to the spirits of giants, leaving a legacy that still intrigues us to this day. These mythical
giants that loom large in both biblical and Jewish lore, have become woven into the very fabric of our culture, drawing us into endless speculation about their past and future. At the heart of this mystery lies the Watchers – divine beings who sired gigantic offspring with mortal women, only to be imprisoned beneath rocks until their day of reckoning arrives. This belief was likely familiar to Jews of the Second Temple era, adding to the mystique and allure of these larger-than-life
creatures.
Diving into the mystery of the Nephilim, some people believe these giants may have survived the Great Flood despite scripture suggesting otherwise. Some even speculate that their bloodline may have continued through trans-humanization or demonic interference in AI. The search for evidence of their existence continues, but so far, most remains found have belonged to mammoths due to their sheer size. These powerful beings, also
known as Anakim, Rephaim, and Nephilim, were described as giants or warlords in various sources. Interestingly, the Anakim may have donned metal jewelry, as their name derives from a Hebrew word meaning “necklace.”
The mystery surrounding the elusive Nephilim has only added to the allure of these ancient mythological beings. With their rumored connection to angels, giants, and human-divine hybrids, their legacy remains a captivating enigma
that continues to intrigue scholars and laypeople alike. Despite the veil of uncertainty that surrounds them, one thing is certain – the Nephilim have secured their place as enduring objects of fascination and speculation for generations to come.
Where Do Demons Come From?
(logos.com)
Everyone familiar with the Bible knows it talks about angels and demons. But most would be surprised to learn that there’s no verse in the Bible that explains where demons came from. Christians typically assume that demons are fallen angels, cast from heaven with Satan (the Devil) right before the temptation of Adam and Eve. But guess what? There’s no such story in the Bible. The only description of anything like that is in Revelation 12:9—but the
occasion for that whole episode was the birth of the Messiah (Rev 12:4-6), an event long after Adam and Eve. The idea of a primeval fall of angels actually comes from church tradition and the great English poet John Milton in his epic Paradise Lost.
Nephilim: Who are the giants of the
Bible, Jewish lore? – explainer – The Jerusalem Post (jpost.com)
Nephilim dot the legends of Jews and Christians alike. Their nature is vague and uncertain due to how apocryphal information is about them.
The sons of God were angels who had children with humans. The result, according to some, were the Nephilim.
While this theory is especially popular among Christians, it is present in Judaism too, specifically
in the Midrash. This story’s existence in Midrash isn’t disputed. In fact, it is even mentioned in the Talmud, in Nidah 61a and Yoma 67b. What is disputed is how literally one should take it, since in Judaism, the free will and agency of angels isn’t really a factor. Angels in Judaism are seen as just messengers with no autonomy. Even Satan is but another angel doing God’s work.
Who Are the Nephilim and Did They Escape the Flood? “Giant” Problems in Genesis 6 and Numbers 13 | B. J. Oropeza (patheos.com)
In Numbers 13:33 the Nephilim appear again during Israel’s travels in the wilderness, which is
supposed to be centuries after the Flood. If the Israelites saw the Nephilim in the land of Canaan, are we to assume that these are the offspring of the Nephilim from Genesis 6? Put differently, did the Nephilim survive the great Flood of Genesis 6–9?
Who Were The Nephilim: The Creepy, Fallen Giants Mentioned Throughout The Bible? | IFLScience
The Nephilim are described more extensively in the Book of Enoch, a text purported to be the work of Noah’s grandfather. The book describes a group of fallen angels who decide to remain on Earth, before breeding with humans and creating the Nephilim.
“And they became pregnant, and they bare great giants, whose
height was three thousand ells [3,429 meters]” the text reads “Who consumed all the acquisitions of men. And when men could no longer sustain them, the giants turned against them and devoured mankind. And they began to sin against birds, and beasts, and reptiles, and fish, and to devour one another’s flesh, and drink the blood.”
Are the Nephilim Still Procreating in our World Today? – Charisma Magazine
Genesis 6:1-4 talks about men multiplying on the earth and God limiting the years of men to 120 years. In verse 4 it says, “The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also after that, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men, and they bore children to them. These were the mighty men
who were of old, men of renown.”
“It had to do with human beings, getting so intimate with demonic things that they pass something down physically,” Brewer says. He believes this is still happening to this day.

We should consider what it might mean if demons could speak through AI, whether that be through ChatGPT—or is it Chat C3PO, I never can tell—and if such a thing is even possible.
First, we should consider if AI mechanisms could even be considered candidates for any sort of demonic infestation. According to a helpful post from Catholic Answers on how demons could attach themselves to an object, it seems that demonic
infestation of material things or places is, in fact, possible.
