Why the Glock 42 .380 is my everyday carry weapon
I have a Glock 42 .380 as my everyday carry weapon for a few reasons. First, it is lightweight and easy
to conceal. Second, the Glock 42 has a low recoil, making it easy to shoot accurately. Third, the .380 has enough stopping power to take down an attacker. Finally, I am confident in my ability to use the Glock 42 safely and effectively.
The Glock 42 is my go-to carry gun for a few reasons. First and foremost, it’s lightweight and easy to conceal. The Glock 42 weighs in at only 13.76
ounces unloaded, making it one of the lightest pistols on the market. Additionally, the Glock 42 is only 5.94 inches long and 4.13 inches tall, making it extremely easy to conceal on your person. Whether you’re carrying concealed on your hip or in an ankle holster, the Glock 42 will not print and will be virtually undetectable.
In addition to being lightweight and easy to conceal, the Glock
42 also has a low recoil. The combination of the low weight and low recoil makes the Glock 42 extremely easy to shoot accurately, even for those with smaller hands or weaker wrists. The low recoil also makes follow-up shots quick and easy, which is important in a self-defense situation where every second counts.
Another reason I carry a Glock 42 is because of the stopping power of
the .380. While some may argue that the 9mm is a better self-defense round, I believe that the .380 has enough stopping power to take down an attacker while also being easy to fire accurately at close range.
Finally, I am confident in my ability to use the Glock 42 safely and effectively. I know that I can draw my weapon quickly and shoot accurately in a self-defense situation
and that gives me a great deal of confidence when carrying.
The Glock 42 .380 is my everyday carry weapon of choice because it is lightweight and easy to conceal, has a low recoil, packs enough stopping power for self-defense situations, and I am confident in my ability to use it effectively if needed. Carrying a gun is not something to be taken lightly but if you are going to do it, you need to make sure
you have a gun that you are confident in carrying with you everywhere you go. For me, that gun is the Glock 42 .380.
